Normal creation of a new, empty hosting account is included. Migrations, device configuration and work outside the hosting platform are assessed separately, so customers only pay for the help they actually need.

Moving to us
Already have a website or business email?
Changing provider need not mean losing your website, messages or carefully organised mail folders. We will first assess your existing setup, explain what can be transferred and agree a safe migration plan with you.
For straightforward IMAP accounts, existing email messages and folders can usually be copied to your new mailbox. We can also help set up the new account on your computer and mobile phone.

Common questions
Can you move an existing website or email account?+
Usually, yes. We can assess your existing hosting and plan a careful transfer with the shortest practical interruption. Straightforward IMAP email accounts can normally be copied with their messages and folder structure intact. Migration is quoted separately after we understand what is involved.
What about Outlook, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace?+
Email stored in an Outlook archive may be transferable but needs to be inspected first. Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace email can often be migrated, but calendars, contacts, shared mailboxes, cloud files and collaboration features are separate and may not transfer to a standard mailbox. We will explain what is possible before any work begins.
Is a domain name included?+
Domain registration and renewal are handled separately, so ownership and ongoing costs remain clear.
Is VAT added to these prices?+
No. DM Web and Email Hosting is not currently VAT registered, so the advertised price is the final price payable.
What support is included with hosting?+
Hosting faults, control-panel guidance, password resets, reasonable mailbox and DNS administration, certificate maintenance and recovery following a hosting failure are included. Website alterations, computer problems, repeated device setup and other hands-on technical work are quoted separately.
What do the backups cover?+
Hosting data is backed up routinely and restoration is tested. Backups are a recovery safeguard rather than unlimited long-term archiving.
Can you host WordPress?+
Yes. The Starter, Business and Business Plus plans can support WordPress and other database-driven websites.
Will you help set up my computer and phone?+
Yes. We can provide the settings and offer setup of your new email account in Outlook or another mail app on your computer, laptop, tablet or mobile phone as a separate support service where required.
